The overall quality is pretty durable is made out of plastic and from some tests where is tested it flexibility and strength and it did show that it won’t break easily at all.
Also the Tiamat are one of the most comfortable headsets on the market.
Even when you’re wearing glasses you won’t be having any pain or that feeling that your glasses are about to burst through your skull.
It has nice padding strip at the top, that is attached with a elastic band that it fits on your head perfectly. the padding strip also have some small individual pads that are huge plus for the comfort level.
The Tiamat have some leather ear cups that have memory foam and these are magnetic, which is means when you want to clean them you can simply take them off, washed them and then put them back on.
The other thing that you can do is attach plastic covers to the size of the headset. As the Tiamat have that cool design feature where you can look into each of the earcups and see the individual speakers.
Or if you don’t want to see the speakers you can just attach the plastic covers.
It’s not a gaming headset without a built-in microphone and the Razer Tiamat has a retractable noise filtering microphone you can pull it out and adjust the angle of the microphone.
After few tests the microphone is not the best on the market, but it gets the job done.
Also with the Razer Tiamat 7.1 surround sound you get an audio control unit and you can use it for controlling the volume differently on each audio channel.
